Really VON? And where?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

They didn't have cucumbers in the local greengrocers - only corgettes.

Well, from there they returned to Europe, played two concerts in Former Yugoslavia

and then had to cancel four of the following twelve gigs, because :von: fell ill ... ...

http://sisterswiki.org/Gigography#Tour_Thing_1

However, this was the tour that ended with two concerts in Wembley Arena.
And the year after they played Tour Thing 2 with 43 gigs all over the world
followed by three festivals, including Roskilde and Tune In- Turn On - Load Out
with some originally scheduled 23 gigs all across the USA - nine of which were
cancelled by the promotors because they found it impossible to have The Sisters
play together with Public Enemy ... ...

btw, I think on this photo :von: does really look a bit like Elvis ... ...

Or maybe it's not having toured in 5 years.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Goth legend to Sports Casual in fifteen odd years. I'm more of a Reebok - or "Rbk" as they like to be known these days - kinda guy. Fits in with the Raiders NFL gear quite nicely.

Its amazing how you guys can see a picture and immediately identify not only where and when it was taken but also what Andrew had for dinner that day.

you have an interesting (and very complimentary) definition of "amazing"
