Promo / colored vinyl...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I just got my hands on two Sisters LP´s, but I´ve failed to learn much about them.
The first one is a "promo copy" of F&L&A. The label seems fine enough, no songtitles, it features the EMI and Warner logos, but the band name is Sisters of Mercy. Yep, no "The". The record itself is colored vinyl, some sort of blue/green "marble" color.
The other record is called "Remasters Sampler", and simply features most of the bonus tracks from the Rhino reissues. The cover consists of images from all three album covers, and the vinyl is colored blue.

Anyone with any info on these records? Grateful for any info...

Both bootlegs that show up constantly on Ebay.

What more is there to tell. The FALAA one is issued in several colours.

Bought at Dirty Records in Gothenburg?
...I’ve never had the desire to make a record unless I have something to say...

As a matter of fact, yes. :D They didn´t cost much, and I wasn´t expecting them to be worth more somewhere else, but since I´m really not into the whole bootleg thing, I was just a little curious if anyone had any info on them.
