Hello everybody, I have a little questions about the 2006 release of 'First + Last + Always'. I think everybody of you noticed the Strawberry Studios tracksheet printed in the CD inlay titled "A to Z of Sisters Songs", on which some band member (?) wrote down a list of possible album contenders.
There are the familiar titles (No Time to Cry/Emma/Walk Away/Poison Door/A Rock and a Hard Place/Possession/Marianne[sic]/Wide Receiver/Nine While 9/On the Wire)
Then there are two titles (Scottish One A/Scottish One B) which were, as far as I understand it, the working title for 'First+Last+Always.
But there are a few additional working titles for songs (Spit on Your Grave/Evil Come Evil/Little Wing/Andy's Little Wing/Down to E.....) which cannot be identified.
Can anybody shed any light on this matter? Perhaps even Mr. Marx himself?
'First + Last + Always' - working titles for song?

... plus 'Tones', sorry. There was also a working title of a song called 'Tones'.

If this working title really stands for the chord changes E-C-E-G, which Sisters song could it possibly be?
The songs not mentioned on the list were Black Planet/Amphetamine Logic/Some Kind Of Stranger/Blood Money/Bury Me Deep/Garden of Delight/Serpents Kiss/Yesterday Again ...
Does any of these songs have these chord changes? I can't tell as I'm not a guitarist ...

Exactly, the one that had the working title 'Frail and Torn'.
Plus, I forgot 'Where Spirits Fly', of course. Does anybody know if they had a go at it in the studio?
The 2006 reissue booklet shows a Strawberry Studios tracksheet with the drum programming to 'Wide Receiver', which indicates that a full band recording of that song may exist, too.
There seem to be enough tracks for a Deluxe Edition of that album ... which should be out in 2025, I think.

'A Rock and a Hard Place' AND 'Evil Come Evil Go' are both on the list ...
Blood Money and Bury Me Deep were recorded later so probably shouldn't be included among the possibles (of course there is a slim chance that early versions were recorded during the FALAA sessions, but the released versions were subsequent).
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

When I was at college I did a compare-and-contrast between I Spit On Your Grave and The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover trying to make some point about censorship and violence in movies
