Gn'R and Libertines make cocks outta themselves

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

*yawn* Anyone still interested in Axl and his hired hands? No me. Saw Slash's band on the Glastonbury recap on the Beeb and their version of Paradise City was way better than G 'n R ever did with Axl.

Libertines 've been hyped up as being Britain's 'alternative' band (after feckin' No Way Sis) on Seven Ages Of Rock, but sorry, I DON'T BELIEVE THE FECKIN' HYPE!

Pete Doherty can shoot up whatever he wants in his veins; that music still sucks imho. It's been done. And much better tae boot.

Oh well, whatever, nevermind...

So Axl goes on an hour late and tries to make it the fault of the promoters when they pull the plug on him? What an asswipe. Fave tweet from during the gig, "it's like watching your dad and some of his mates have a go on Guitar Hero..."

I had Up the Bracket. It was a good record, but not a great one.

Not a fan of The Libertines at all but to be fair they didn't actually do anything wrong. As for Axl, he's still pulling the same childish stunts he did 20 years ago. :?

so it's the same as when both bands were at the height of their popularity then.

I despised G'n'R in their heyday, and the libertines are about as "alternative" as Status Quo.

Where's your punk rock credentials now Waxl? The guy would have never survived shows like Reading '88. Feckin' prima donna.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
