She might have known, it could be an "open marriage". What a couple (or a threesome, or whatever) does for sexual kicks is no-one else's business. But yes, I get your point.DeWinter wrote:I suppose the argument is that if Hague can't be trusted by his wife, why on earth should the electorate trust him either? It's a valid point, to me. But the high-horse the general public get on when a politico gets caught bending is always pretty nauseating.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's been started by someone within the Tories. As well as the motives you mention, they could be trying to bury the Coulson / phone-tapping story. Pass me my tin-foil hat again.DeWinter wrote:<snip>
Am interested who's starting these rumours. After the fun and games with McBride and co one would think Labour, but there's a hell of a lot of Torys who dislike Cameron quite intensely and Hague remains popular amongst them, so wouldn't be surprised to find one of Cameron's cadre is behind this. Plus ca change..

Well, Occam's Razor, I suppose I'd plump for a Labour smear to distract attention from Blair's messianic return via print. It's doing David Miliband no good at all, and I suspect Labour don't want to be led by his brother, the only other serious contender, because he seems to be mentioning wealth redistribution and various other no-no's...markfiend wrote: I wouldn't be surprised if it's been started by someone within the Tories. Re: the Morrissey thing-- while it is true that China's animal rights record is less than exemplary, I'd be more worried about their human rights record. He really is a cock isn't he?

Segway boss Jimi Heselden dies in scooter cliff fall
Yorkshire millionaire Jimi Heselden dies while testing cross-country version of upright, motorised 'green commuter' machine
which is too funny not to mention, but reading the article he sounds as if he was actually a decent chap, with a good amount of integrity.

This whole Delhi games saga gets more bizarre by the minute.

Not too dissimilar to government offices all over the world really.Thousands of monkeys roam Delhi, mostly around government offices and are considered a public nuisance.
BBC manages to go a whole day without mentioning the sodding Millibands in thier headlines, breaking a run of nearly three months of boring me to sodding death about them.

All this talk of the Millibands made me wonder...
