article on FALAA I'm currently writing ... unfortunately
it's in German, but you could ask Von for a translation!

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_and_Last_and_Always

It's work in progress ...

Cool ... ... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

How did you manage this? They usually aren't that cooperative at German Wikipedia ... 8) ...
Dunno, I put a lot of other articles on Wiki over the last years
and nobody complained:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penetration_%28Band%29
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cut_the_Crap
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleenex_%28Band%29
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Turns_Blue and some more...
I see ... :D ...
probably it's because you put on full articles and do not extend or optimise existing ones ...

Makes sense. There was a long gap over the winter period '84/85 ...
when the singer was near dead from failing to deliver Black October in time and the relentless touring - lazy bastard
So, Black October was the working title for the whole First And Last And Always album?

Apparently, yes.

Ooh, didn't know that. Thought it was just the name of a tour. Maybe. Depending on who you ask and what kind of mood they're in.

 ... sounds plausible ...

however, IMHO, Floodland is the straightly elaborated follow-up of FALAA ... ;D ...

Black October as a title for the FALAA album were ... say, merely gloomy ... ... somewhat missing the point ... ...

Because it would have been too funny to release an album named "Black October" some few days before the begining of spring, and "Black April" doesn't sound g*** enough...

So, it was part of the master plan all along? I've my doubts, Mr. Blast. I think such comments engage in apologetics. But then again my faith is and always has been weak... and drunk. Also drunk. Frequently inebriated. What is life without the creature?

I would except it's not mentioned on the official site. I'm not saying that they'd actually remember or anything but I kind of feel that they should know.

Having said all that, I seem to remember being the one who posted an image of the advert for the tour of that name...

when I say "by this band" I am referring to Mr. E, Lerch, Marx and Lovelock not any of the other incarnations, are you with me now? :|

BTW, that "Lovelock" thing was a joke of Hussey in the music press, his
real name is indeed Jerry That Guitarist.
