Don't know if anyone has seen this before... I know I haven't.

Hand filmed version of Ghost Rider/Louie Louie from Wake
I have the thing on VHS, but alas no way to transfer it.
Bought it at a record fair in Brighton back in 85/86 time.
Willing to post it to anyone who would like to make a transfer to DVD, as long as I can have a copy .
Maybe properly authored with a better quality soundtrack???

You thinking blu ray, bells & whistles, enhanced, deluxe version?
Me neither.

The rest seems intact

such things as this are part of my religion, as soon as they appear - I'm on it!

From the official site (http://www.thesistersofmercy.com/gen/fa ... aqnorm.htm):Nadia81 wrote:Yeah-I thought the story was the band took so long to return for the encore that the camera crew had already packed up and gone.
"Why isn't the last encore included on 'Wake', the film of the Royal Albert Hall concert in 1985?
By the time we hit the stage for the last encore, some of the necessary machines had been switched off. Various film technicians had decided that we'd finished. Andrew had been performing with a couple of cracked ribs, and he had indeed decided to finish, but Lemmy was in the dressing room to convince him that another encore was in order. After a short discussion and a multilateral assessment of all the available pharmaceuticals, the band hit the stage again - but too speedily for the aforementioned technicians. There was some audio-visual material from the last encore, but Polygram "lost it" shortly after the film was edited and released."
Presumably enough of the cameras were packed away by the time encore happened for what was filmed to be deemend not worth including, though from memory the omissions* mean that the video runs for just under an hour (could that make it more sellable to TV companies?). Again, from memory Gimme Shelter was cut from the release due to copyright restrictions, but as it was played earlier in the set it must have been filmed with all cameras rolling.
Should that read "om*****ns"?

What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
these seem to be the versions i did reconstruct, including my edited version of the audience recording, which can be taken in the sharing section as linked 2 posts above. still not a real full thing.Quiff Boy wrote:genetrujillo's vids are probably the best quality version of the missing songs i've seen (audio at least)
