damage done revisited

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I don't think so. I was saying something similar recently about Watch performed live. But then, the sisters back in 82 or 83 could have performed Three Little Boys live and made it sound dangerous, frantic and profound.

One of the old 7 inchers? I forget the company who made them, but they were effing great.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

The primary bootleg 7" is the first single.

Damage Done + 3 Live Tracks 7" is made by Pan Vox, from Portugal, the same people that made the Good Things + 2 Live Tracks 7"

I've got both those :D although I always regarded the sound quality as very poor.

Yeh, Pan Vox was the crowd responsible. I have both, and they are fairly rough alright but the energy and enthusiasm is all there. At least they don't sound like they were recorded under 20,000 mattresses.
