The original Batmobile from the 1960s TV series starring Adam West is still the ultimate screen car for an entire generation of caped crusader fans. Now anybody with a spare $149,999 (£95,000) can buy one.
Sadly it is too big to fit in my BATh-ROOM.
Mon now Pista, let's save up.

I've touched one of the Batmobiles, on display @ Cars Of The Stars or whatever in Keswick. Never washed my finger since

I love Cars of the Stars. It's one of the "so bad it's good" classics.Norman Hunter wrote:I've touched one of the Batmobiles, on display @ Cars Of The Stars or whatever in Keswick. Never washed my finger since
One time we went there and they had posters of David Hasselhof on sale at 50p each. We bought a job-lot and wallpapered our toilet with them.

@Weebs.
Now that would look pretty spectacular growling around Churwell.
I'll check the piggy bat when I get home.
I still think the picture on the back of the BATh room door is perfect.

Can't we club together and get a Heartland Batmobile? We could car share.

They wouldn't allow photos, hence I can't prove it. IIRC, there also were the - obligatory - Only Fools And Horses Robin, Streethawk, KITT, and James Bond's Aston Martin and Lotus.markfiend wrote:I love Cars of the Stars. The reason they don't allow photos is that then they can flog you the postcards at the end

I haven't been since I was in short trousers. They had a DeLorean then. That was the greatest thing until I saw women with no clothes on.markfiend wrote:I love Cars of the Stars. It's one of the "so bad it's good" classics.
