Heartland on Twitter (split from the Von/Twitter thread)
Have you synchronised it with all the other HL social networking profiles?

that's the next step
however, HL's facebook presence is a goup
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4 ... 880&ref=ts
and i cant see how to connect the posts to a group. an individual profile yes, but not a group.
and last.fm doesn't support that kind of content anyway
http://www.last.fm/group/MyHeartland
although at a push i could see if i can get the 'currrently listening to' thread to scrobble playlists
or is that a bit much?

It's a place where if you're not careful you will get sucked into a world of excruciatingly banal homilies and/or self-regarding tosh written by irredeemable nincompoops. However if you're slightly and very necessarily discerning you can keep up with stuff like Heartland other worthies without breaking a sweat.Erudite wrote:What's Twitter?

Well put. Basically you just subscribe to a bunch of people, bands, companies, whatever that you think might be interesting then further down the line prune off all the ones that annoy you or post too much. Hey presto, a fairly lean and reasonably manageable way to keep up to date and have a chuckle. The Mentalist wrote:It's a place where if you're not careful you will get sucked into a world of excruciatingly banal homilies and/or self-regarding tosh written by irredeemable nincompoops. There are some very handy ones to have in terms of specialist record shops or labels where it gets you an early heads-up on limited releases, for example. I'd have missed the recent Swans one but for a tweet by YGR.
