Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Looks Great. 50 quid plus VAT & Shipping
That looks awesome, I wonder if they will be selling them on the merch stall at this weekend's gigs.
Not that I'm sure I'm allowed to buy one though
Damn moving house, it is interfering with my quality of life
I'm not sure about having them ready for the RC gigs, on the NMA site they have said that they will be on sale at some of the gigs but weren't specific further than that.
Good Luck with moving house

This is from the NMA Forum from Viv Savage (she's linked to the band so she knows things)
Unfortunately, it would appear that the boxset will not be making an appearance at Rock City this week. But it should be at the London gigs. When I get more information as to when and where the notorious Mr Boxset will be rearing his blessed head, I will of course divulge...
Viv.
Hope this helps

RC phoned yesterday to say that NMA will be on stage at 7.15...

Yes, as I said in a previous post on here - both nights are Club Nights so that's the reason for the early gig.
Anyone going to either gig can stay in Rock City for the club nights or Zodiac Mindwarp.

Hurrah, I am definitely going for pre-drinks in the Tap N Tumbler tonight & I'm also going to stay for Zodiac Mindwarp on Saturday, sounds like it is going to be an awesome weekend
I've got freshly dyed red hair and a noticeable dimple on my left cheek that used to be a piercing. Come and say hello if you spot me.
Shame about the box sets not being on sale at these gigs, but good news for my wallet

Will Do,
See you in The Tap
Yes, the box set would have been great to get tonight.
From what it says on the Official NMA site, thay've got enough of them not to sell out so hopefully we'll get them soon.

This is from the Offical NMA site ( www.NewModelArmy.org )about filming their concerts
FILMING THE ANNIVERSARY SHOWS
It is well-known that we have 'no policy' when it comes to audience members filming our concerts for their own pleasure. We don't give specific 'permission' but we don't stop people doing it. Sometimes this gets lost in translation with particular venues and in a few cases we are unable to persuade a venue to lift its own camera restrictions. We would now like to put this policy to good use...
We are considering filming the London December shows and one aspect of the film will be to encourage members of the audience to film, using whatever camera is available to them, certain songs. We will then edit this 'fan' footage with our own material.
We thought we'd use this Saturday's Nottingham show as a sort of test to see how well this works. If you'd like to participate then please email nma@trunkfilms.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We will then direct you to a dropbox where you can deposit your footage. We dont expect you to film the entire show - but as much as possible would be welcome - and we are unable to give you an advance set-list. Interesting angles, shots of fellow audience members, yourself are all welcome - use your imagination!
I'm filming both nights & will be sending them copies of both nights & will also be sharing them on here & on the NMA Forum.
Why can't The Sisters have such an easy policy on recording their concerts

sAW THEM here in rome last weekend both nights at circolo. some kind of militia thing still going on after all these years, like the phono in 1988 all over again. are they originals? or new ... marshall was ace, lancashire lad, also ben guitar tech drinks in the grove, from armley. drummer's a liverpool fan grrrrr - great night! we all loved 'em.
Cracking venue, wild crowd, great choonz. Even got to meet Justin briefly.
I met justin after the Friday night in Rock City briefly.
From what I've read on the NMA forum, Dublin were 2 great nights - I just wish I could have gone to them.
I managed to film a few songs from each night; just trying to figure out what to do with them at the moment. YouTube obviously, but they need a bit of editing and sound boosting first (the fact that they're about 300 MB each is also a slight problem!) Quality was surprisingly good and really captures the atmosphere well.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Work on them in Windows Movie maker, that lets you do some basic mixing & will get them into the correct format for uploadign to Youtube.
I'll look forward to seeing them vids.
Cheers

Yep,
The London gigs are going to be great I think - I wish I was going to them.
As we had Ed & Joolz in Nottingham I think ex-members will probably be included in the London shows, maybe Dave, Jason Morrow, & Moose will be there and maybe Mark Feltham will be free from 9 Below Zero duties that weekend.
I'll just have to look forward to the Official DVD of the Saturday night when it gets released.

If my memory serves me well - it was leeds poly in 1988.. did the local goth club get taken over afterwards?
Anyway - as with any band going for 30 years - still some of old crew going to see them regularly - some not so old and some new (think their website forum has brought a few new faces down).. all pretty tame stuff compared to 20 odd year ago..
The band are still on top form though - they went through a dodgy spell a few years ago - but marshall gave them a good kick up the backside - i can even forgive his more dodgy metal momments for that!
