Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.
What? Dead? I beg to differ....my walkman is still working properly, minus the duct tape. and my rewind button works fine. I have fresh batteries and after side two I just grabbed another tape. See, fine! What's all this nonsense about walkmen being expired and gone. Mine still heere alive and well. Not to mention cassettes are coming back too, depending on your geography. I guess when it's time to bury it I'll just go to the trusty pawnshop and find another. Stop all this negative audio propaganda. Never mind the digital, here's the analog.......
Oddly enough, I unearthed my Walkman a copule of nights ago and momentarily considered giving it away. But then I found a space for it in my drawers (oo-er!) and found out about the discontinuation the next day. Mine has Megabass and Autoreverse. The in-ear headband style headphones for those Walkmans beat the crap out of most I've heard since and I still use mine these days for my MP3 player.
