Manage The Peacocks!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

£1.99? You could probably buy the real team for that!

Was 2002 the year of their initial decline? :innocent:

Still highest placed team in Yorkshire, one point off fourth - our inconsistency is our consistency this season. Personally I'd settle for our position now at the end of the season - them lot who are (sometimes) from Yorkshire and (sometimes) from Humberside tomorrow at ER.

A moment many Belgians remember fondly ;D
Wiki wrote:21 September 1971 is a day that Lierse supporters will never forget. Two weeks earlier, Lierse had lost 0-2 at home to the far superior Leeds United in the first round of the UEFA Cup. Nobody expected that Lierse would win in Leeds, but 90 minutes later the scoreboard read that Lierse had improbably won 0-4, and Leeds, the Cup holders were knocked out.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Probably not, but seeing as we're not doing too bad as a newly-promoted team I'd prefer Grayson in charge.

Leeds United bashing eh, who'd have thought it? Bring it on :D

I play centre-half - OGs are an occupational hazard.

After making his professional debuts with hometown club Vitória de Setúbal in 1994, Ribeiro was signed by Leeds United manager George Graham in 1997–98, and was a key component of the rebuilding exercise that Graham had been brought in to do at Leeds. Injured at the start of the 1998–99 season, he never really regained his place in the midfield under new manager David O'Leary, and was eventually transferred to Sheffield United in October 1999 for £500,000, where he scored once against West Bromwich Albion.
