The view from my office window in Newcastle - note the clear view of Gateshead across the water in the top half of the picture (ie completely vanished) and the picturesque Tyne Bridge far right (ie also vanished)
I have a photo taken from my hotel in Moscow back in the 80's that has less snow on it than this!

As I live round the corner I don't get to go home early and I'm expected to cover everyother feker tomorrow.

I live round the corner too but I made the excuse that "it's not safe to walk out there", and bloody rightly so - saw 3 falls (one of which was a broken arm) in the space of a minute or so.
I'm expecting to be the only one in tomorrow.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Weather and climate are not the same thing...
Anyhoo, I'm working from home again, managed to get out (as far as the pub) last night.
Oh and if anyone's had an email or text to the effect of "the police will be stopping people with large amounts of snow on their car roof and fine them £60" it's not true. However driving with a "snowhican" can be dangerous. If all that snow falls off in one go it can pose a serious danger to others.
