Snow,how much have you got?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

There's a Ned in a blue jumper suit trying to nick yer wheels, James.

And his two mates are standing guards opposite.

As Glesga is snowed in and all my colleagues live outside the City, the office had to shut early today as they all buggered off by 12pm, leaving me as the 'One True Weegie' virtually on my ain until 2pm

Finally, for the first time ever I can say that I got to skive off work! ;D

My sympathy man. Falling on my arse a few weeks back hurt -- and as I recall I have a bit more padding in that area than yerself
It's the kinda thing where you'd think the only thing you'd hurt is your pride, isn't it? Quite an astonishing impact though; I'd guess the yell of "SHIIIIIIIIIII......" could have been heard for miles!

The car is parked in front of your driveway, no? No wonder you had such a tough time getting to work. :P

Jeeez -17 this morning, arrived at school to find a blue caretaker, heating's packed in. Had to close school have just got home and am typing with blocks of ice that used to be my fingers.

Even more silly and absolutely unnecessary.

are we allowed to have such daft temperatures? When I'm in charge of the world there'll be nothing lower than -4, just to keep people on their toes, so to speak.

There was a thing on the telly last week about temperatures in Siberia, down to -52 (yes that's minus fifty-two)

But that's foreign - it's why I don't live in foreignland. I chose to reside in a temperate land. Today is not temperate.

And I'm sure they'll try to convince you that 'in fact it does not FEEL that cold up there', they tried that with me in Egypt (but with 'hot' obviously).

Thaw started today, and about bloody time too. Everyone's a little annoyed with it by this point in time. "OK, we've done snow, howabout we move on, eh?"

I'm currently melting the sheets of ice off the inside of my window.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.

Just a cm worth, but powdery enough to sweep the walkway without effort and clear the windshield with just the wipers.
