Cheesey 80's electro pop ahoy!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Holly Valance's new album is so under the influence of 80's synth pop it's not true. Cliche upon cliche. Wave after wave of buzz phrase lyrics. It IS the big cheese.

It's ****ing great! :D Image

If you want the 80's back then GET IT.

That single is corking! I thought she would have kept with the pop stuff like Kiss, Kiss... but good to see a change in direction work so well!

Sorry Heartlanders, my postings are on 'freak out mode' tonight and NO Petseri, I cannot delete them, only edit them.

the posting below was what I was trying to say in the first place. :(

If you do then try and find the Japanese CD. It has two extra tracks - Please Please Me (which is pretty good) and Just Like Me. Just Like Me is total ROCK!

I'm still listening to Spray (http://www.spraynet.freeserve.co.uk/)

Can't remember whose fault it is.

Maybe you'd feel better to know that while purchasing the above album I also bought The Very Best Of Led Zepplin 2cd . 2 albums for 19 quid.

Can't say fairer than that!

Hiya new Self Promoter....wilkommen to Heartlands....

As for the 80's...please!!!

My in-laws go ooh...the 80's you love the 80's dontcha???

Me, I nail parts of my body to the wall in despair.

The 80's were crap. Full of "Lets be American" bands. films, books etc etc.

Just coincidental that a handful of decent acts started out in the 80's.

God help us all.

Adios.

The late '80s were only bearable due to the uK guitar bands doing the rounds: Loop, Head Of David, Godflesh, Telescopes, Drop, otherwise it really was a p*ss poor time for music, let alone fashion
