What's happened ...

For you to give feedback to the Heartland moderators. Wish lists, fault reports, etc. You may get an answer, you may not. As in all things, it largely depends on how nicely you ask the people in charge... You're welcome.

... to the official Heartland Theme?

It looks even worse than a Wiki today ...  ...

All the other themes work perfectly, though.

Looks like a load of the images have gone west. Dr Jeep is still fine.

i moved a lot of the main theme's images to a different domain to give the site a performance boost a few weeks ago (it's called a "content delivery network", or CDN) but it looks like the dns for the CDN has gotten screwed up. :(

i'm looking into it :)

for the techies out there, the reason it only just f**ked up was because i'd also added some code to the htaccess file that tells your browser to cache the theme's images for 60 days (as a further performance tweak)

i'd suggest the cdn was never properly setup, but that the browser was caching theme images for people, covering up the error

and then when the 60 days expires, and the browser tries to get a new copy of the images, suddenly everyone sees the missing images

ahem.

as i say, its sorted now anyway ;)

But IGM has plastic too (or at least the buttons look like plastic). Chrome and plastic. You know it makes sense. :D
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I prefer the Official Heartland Theme ... ... and - it's the common Welcome Page ...

if not available, it's Dr. Jeep rather than the IGM (looks to much like sort of artificial machine standard for my taste)

Thanks to Quiff for sorting this out ... ...

I recall that the idea was a low-bandwidth theme, so no. No avatars. 8)
