Snow,how much have you got?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Sadly none; it ended up going to the east of here. Sad because that meant that today's activities were not cancelled.

All the snow's gone away, and has been replaced with impenetrable banks of thick fog, with visibility down to around 25 yards...

Not a happy camper :x

Surely taking the subway is safe in such weather.

Supposed to get a "big snow storm" tonight.
(4 to 5 inches)

Heh.

Everyone here is flipping out and stock piling.
I'm just laughing at 'em!

About 7 inches fell here last night and it took me two and a half hours to drive 20 miles in blizzard conditions.
Had to walk the last bit of my journey as my car got stuck.

We did actually get the prescribed 4",
which is weird that the weatherman actually got something right.

Compared to other places I've lived,
4" isn't a big deal, but around here... well, they think it is.
Everyone freezes up & decides they don't know how to do anything.
(Also, weird to me.)

I find the snow invigorating!
I was outside scooping up the drive
within the first half hour of being awake this morning.
...better than coffee!
...better than speed!
The snow makes me feel young and alive again.

I just wish there'd been more of it.

None. Zilch. It's actually felt quite warm recently - about 10° (in new money) I reckon. :D
