THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Woke up this morning with a vague recollection of a story from the time of the Andrew and Patricia split, where she was seemingly obsessed with a piece of surgery he had done to fix his face after an altercation in a bar.
May have been in UTR or perhaps I'm imagining the whole thing?
I also seem to recall Eldritch mentioning some might recall him taking to the stage in bandages.

Pointless trivia and apropos to nothing in particular - just one of these things that occasionally surfaces and then sits there - but thought I'd check if anyone else recalls this?

This was in some issue of UTR -saw it in the HL gallery- so you're not imagining it. Can't remeber which one, though.

Aye, what's needed is some sort of defrag process for the human brain.
Although I wouldn't mind a memory upgrade either.
And I haven't even turned forty yet!

Von was "bottled" in a pub in Glasgow and he performed the next evening ( 9 March 1985 at Strathclyde Uni ) with his face bandaged. Some altercation having to do with his girlfriend, Josie. There's a photo somewhere -the bandage visible under his Ray-Bans.

Didn't Von then start carrying an iron bar up his sleeve or was that unrelated to this incident? Wild times!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I seem to recall him saying something to the effect that there were certain people in Leeds who had names for him until he and said iron bar had "a word" with them.
Of course it could all be bravado.

I also recollect him saying that he has a problem with under achievement, which obviously he doesn't do but every other motherfucker on the planet indulges in. :innocent:
