Mick Karn (Japan) RIP

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Horrible but unsurprising news at facebook:

At least he's no longer in pain.
I am a Leeds United fan because I was very naughty in a previous life.

Just saw Robin (Scanner) post it on Twitter - sad but a relief for him.

Another one of my musical heroes is no more. What a bad few months on that front.

A defining sound of the eighties, an excellent bass player and part of one of the best bands of the eighties - ever.
If I was choosing the fantasy band for the next Sisters album I would have had Karn for bassist - not now to be.

f**k, I missed this. I even heard Pete Murphy was considering maybe recording a couple of new Dali's Car tracks. RIP. :(
