Seems as good a place as any...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

...to introduce myself:

(so here goes)

Hello!
I'm bored & I need a new board.
I found this place through Dark Side of the Net.

So... a little about me:
For starters, my first exposure to Sisters was back in 1986 when a cute little goth goober made me a mix tape for my birthday. On it, was included "Alice" & "1969." I was immediately taken! Later that year, my grandmother let me pick out some cassettes at the record shop, so I picked First, Last & Always.

I've been hooked ever since, albeit a bit out of the loop.

I'm not sure what to expect here,
but, we'll see what we shall see.

Doch.

~~~~~~~~~~~
On an alternate note:
I noticed everyone here uses asterisks to fill in missing letters for the F-Bomb.
Is there a list of wordy durds I'm not allowed to say here?
Please enlighten me.
I'm a big fan of the F-word. Even typing "F-Word" grates me.
It makes me want to say it even more.
Shout it, even!
And my avatar...
It's actually an old stamp from Slovenia,
a colored sketch of a skeleton fu... er... laying on top of a nekkid lady.
If I put that up, is it going to pi... er... offend the powers that be?
I do have an alternate avatar,
but, that one involves a finger.
(a particularly central finger)
Help me out here.
I don't want to be accused of crapping on the carpet.
