Should mad world be Xmas number 1?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The Tears for Fears version is pretty good me thinks. We used to sing it by the campfire when we were drunk and teenagers. I didn't quite like the cover in Donnie Darkling though. In my opinion it was too slow, the voice was too weak and, well, it didn't have the same conviction as the original. I wasn't a fan of the movie either. It wasn't bad or anything, it just didn't do it for me. What was the question again?

It's alright, you've had a bad morning by the sounds of it.
I know what you mean, it's not exactly Slade is it?
But it is a lovely moving song IMO.

Just remember this. This rabble you keep talking about does most of the working, paying and dying in this community.

Wow! if ever someone does a compilation called Now That's What I Call Festive Avatars yours will be track 1! Blinding, nice one. I've never got to grips with the technology myself. But imagine a nice picture of Roy Wood at his most colourful.

I know nothing of the version of Mad World you are all on about. But just reading the title makes me think of that horrible bloke in Tears for Fears singing with his mouth too wide open like a Christian on Songs of Praise. So no.
