Bands that should have been ace by their name but weren't...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I agree about the rest , but what's wrong with Black Sabbath?

Probably nothing more than any of their contemporaries per se. Just remember endless discussion about their guitar solos at school. Wasn't Cozy Powell, he of the interminable drum solos in them also? Can drum solos be interesting? Guitar solos are dull enough! ;D

Cozy was in Rainbow and Deep Purple, not Sabbath - that stool has been occupied by Bill Ward, Bev Bevan and Carmine Appice only AFAIK

When they played at Edinburgh Uni they brought along their own crash barriers, obviously to hold back the crowd. Fortunately they weren't needed, coz they were wank :innocent:
