Inside North Korea, recent photos

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Check the following link, it contains comments and many photos taken by a Russian who recently visited North Korea. Shows the daily life and living conditions of the general populance. Maybe interesting for some of you.

Amazing, thanks a lot! One place I'd love to discover, though I reckon it wouldn't be easy to get a proper view as he did.

Glad you found it interesting Obviousman and Million Voices!

Korea is a really fascinating place with a complex history.

I always got the impression that Eldritch seriously studied the cold war and military/political matters... so I thought that these North Korean photos were vaguely appropriate for a Sisters forum.

Maybe Eldritch should make his next grandiose music video in North Korea, I'm sure it would be a good backdrop for him! I can imagine him doing "Lucretia" or "Dominion" style poses in the deserted streets of Pyongyang! Or maybe a "Detonation Boulevard" style cruise through the military zone on the border of North and South Korea!

thanks for link, i saw few documentaries about NK but there's always not enough of that kind singularities.
it's strange that rest of the world can't do something to help regular people in countries like Burma, Belarus, NK or Cuba. :|
