It occurs to me that despite having been to gigs on consecutive nights a few times over the years, this is the first time that I will have seen the same band since I saw Wayne and Craig play two nights at Rock City back to back in the mid 80's

firstly hello to you all, i have been lurking around here for a while now...
Looking forward to tomorrow nights gig...always seemed to miss the sisters when ever they toured previously.
Should be in the dry dock pre - gig - I don't own a Hawaiian shirt as they seem to clash with my clogs !!
One thing - where is the best place to park near the venue ?
many thanks,
Stevieb.

Feel like sh!t here...
Tonight I was sitting in the Tallinn-London airplane, having tickets for bot Leeds gigs and London-Leeds train booking and then the plane landed again. A problem with a door...
The next flight is tomorrow, arriving just before mid-day to Stansted...
Since it's far too late for my 11ish train I'm curious if anyone woudl drive from Stansted or London so late, having a spare seat?
Thanks you...
And now I log out to swear again by my own....

cheapest train ticket for that journey is £73.50
did you take any travel insurance which may help cover cost of unusable train ticket?

If you're totally shafted, could swing across the country and pick you up from Stansted and take you to Leeds, but can't take you back, let me know ASAPpikkrong wrote:Feel like sh!t here...

They were meant to do it two weeks ago,but it was too windyMiki_Mundi wrote:oh why oh why oh why have I got up at this godforsaken hour?

at least your council do something! Here you have to ask god knows how many times, then sit in all day when they will come at the end of the day and then either have to go away and do it tomorrow or rush it and make a crap job of it!ribbons69 wrote: Well,I'll tell you why I'm up at seven when I don't have to leave till gone ten,it's because I've got the bloody council here to fit double glazing upstairs, the basterds! so whats everyone doing today then? any plans?
At the airport, boarding shortly. Christ I'm wrecked, these early mornings do NOT agree with me.
See you all soon!
See you all soon!
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Luckily its just a ten minute drive from sunny Cleckheaton via Wortley (drop the boy off at Grandma & Grandads) for us, both nights.
Hope everyone else manages to make it.
