I'd never listened to the track (apart from at gigs obviously) before so I thought I'd have a listen.
Fly & Collision Of Comas Sola by Tangerine Dream
I was wondering, is the version used as an intro a different mix or has bastardised it with a drum track or soemthing?

I don't think they have used Fly and Collision since the 90s..?? It's for example on the widespread bootleg of the London (Forum) gig from 1998, but already at Mera Luna 2000 they used a different intro.
I think the current intro (some sort of jungle drums?) first came around 2002.

So they say also about Vivaldi, that he only made one song which he varied a little.euphoria wrote:Yes I'm also confused sometimes about what they play, I suspect they have only really made like 5 songs because many are so similar:
Mother Russia-On the wire
Romeo Down-Neverland
Arms-Flood II
etc.

I believe you're correct. "To The Planet Edge" Tour, 1999 I believe, was it's last usage.euphoria wrote:I don't think they have used Fly and Collision since the 90s..?? I thought the same thing, in 2008, mixed in with some Bowie and Stooges and stuff that was being played before the intro music kicked in.theparadox2010 wrote:Sure thay have used the SSV stuff, with the drums mysteriously added, at some of the gigs too...
I still think there would be interest in the SSV stuff surfacing with drums and louder vocals.
