for those that don't know, it's classic early 60s surf tune, originally by the chantays:

also covered by the ventures:

and also covered by hanoi rocks on "all those wasted years":

A song covered by so many bands already, but I think it works very well for The Sisters!

I heard one of their ellpees back in 84, I haven't bothered since, shabby Rolling Stones/New York Dolls/sub Aerosmith trash rock
there's far better out there, like Aerosmith

It all comes down to personal preference but
I much prefer Hanoi Rocks to Aerosmith
Hanoi Rocks I saw several times in the early 80s and again a few years back, absolutely fantastic live and pretty good on vinyl
Aerosmith? - what I have heard on record, nothing without RUN DMC

I am very disappointed that Ben and Chris did not manage the beautifully co-ordinated guitar dancing that appears on the Chantays video. I have often thought they should be more like the Shadows....

The scene was with The Wanderers being chased through the alleyways by The Fordham Baldies.

Whatever about hearts now, and still taking your word for granted although I've been warned I've slightly elaborated that page in the Wiki now ... ...paint it black wrote:just checked and it is the johnny thunders version on AE proudly presents - and which also has stop dragging, didn't know i loved you... so here's hoping for 'anyone who had a heart'
I would point you in the direction of 'Greatest Hits 1973-88' or 'Live Bootleg'. It's all rather different to their MTV era / post-Run DMC collaboration output. In a good way.million voices wrote: Aerosmith? - what I have heard on record, nothing without RUN DMC
Also, if you like Blues Rock, Aerosmith put out a great roots album in 2004 called 'Honkin' on Bobo'.
Some of their music from the mid 80s to early 2000s I can take. Most I can leave.
