Top Secret Video Project

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

There were some strange video clips playing on screens during the gigs. Perhaps this is what they are referring to?

I hope not (to clarify, I hope it's not the "filmic delights" from the gigs).

Most probably not, these are all excerpts from movies ... didn't detect any parts from McCabe & Mrs Miller, though ... ...

I'm sceptical to the idea it has got something to do with the "filmic delights", the clips seemed totally unrelated to anything Sisters-ish.

Cmon, do you really think Andrew would PAY for such clips? :P

Looking through other parts of the website, it looks like they've done a lot of music videos (as opposed to live videos). Dare I dream?

Reconstructed Wittgenstein lectures combined with anime tentacle-death porn? Seems unlikely to me. The band's logo is there, so I'd imagine it has something to do with them.

They film all their shows (at least they used to do so) for post-gig review and analysis.

I've been beaten by hope too many times before. Until I definitely hear otherwise, I will assume it is a short documentary about his cats and their sleeping preferences.

Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will p*ss on your computer.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

It could be Mr E's holiday vids, which considering where he's been/going in the last/next few weeks might be quite interesting.

The film clips were running well before the Sisters came on and when they stayed on when the gig started I just presumed some plum had forgotten to turn them off!!
