You'll be missed, kameraad!
But maybe they'll have a go at one of these pesky little belgian festivals too this summer, who knows...

Which ones could that be? I have only found Dour (where they played back in 97) that takes place between Sonisphere and Helsinki. Any others?radiojamaica wrote: But maybe they'll have a go at one of these pesky little belgian festivals too this summer, who knows...
Interesting too that EM seem to be playing the DV8 Fest in the UK just before Helsinki

That doesn't leave much tour space left

Well I haven't really thought this through I must confess, but they are very populair over here and we have a million and one festivals, so some might be tempted to ask the industrial groove machine... but this is all just hoping, guessing and wishing so don't read anything more into it.euphoria wrote:Which ones could that be? Well, that I know, I'm so keen on going there precisely because of that, that's why I ask so desperately -I want more too, NOWradiojamaica wrote:but they are very populair over here and we have a million and one festivals, so some might be tempted to ask the industrial groove machine

I'll keep my eyes & ears open, okay?!euphoria wrote:Well, that I know, I'm so keen on going there precisely because of that, that's why I ask so desperately -I want more too, NOWradiojamaica wrote:but they are very populair over here and we have a million and one festivals, so some might be tempted to ask the industrial groove machine
Now back to Sonisphere
I guess I'll be there for the Friday & Saturday and will be one of the filthy ones on the camping.
Does anybody know how much the daytickets were last year? Just to get an idea... It's not unlikely that a threeday+camping-ticket is not more expensive.

If I have a look at Pinkpop overhere then the price of 2 day tickets is more expensive than 1 three day ticket + camping. You might be better of with an all in ticket.radiojamaica wrote:I'll keep my eyes & ears open, okay?!euphoria wrote:Well, that I know, I'm so keen on going there precisely because of that, that's why I ask so desperately -I want more too, NOWradiojamaica wrote:but they are very populair over here and we have a million and one festivals, so some might be tempted to ask the industrial groove machine

I was in a doubt but chose Helsinki and vodka because I always wanted to go there but mainly because of my boss/getting days off.radiojamaica wrote:Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. But I'm quite sure you'll enjoy without me and a botlle of bad whisky!

if it turns out they're on the same day as gojira and killing joke i might have to reconsider my decision, provided day tickets become available.

I've still got a single to spare in Welwyn Garden City for Friday and Saturday. That's about as close as you can get when it comes to affordable lodging.robertzombie wrote:Hotel recommendations would be nice. Don't fancy a tent...

Hotel booked, accessibility tickets on their way.....only thing left to decide on is whether it's just going to be this festival or a round trip of the UK...

Well, it seems like we'll be heading over there on the 8th by Eurostar and won't be heading back until the 15th because we are planning on spending an extra couple of days to explore the UK while we are there. Any suggestions on places to visit?

Which hotel are you staying at DasPerltAber as I'm thinking of going but don't want to camp? By the way I think I owe you a drink from the Travelodge at Leeds don't I?
