'Sisters' special debut for my new radio show

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Thanks for the support everyone! yeah I am not going to try and explain the songs, as that would jsut take too long, i want to fit as many as possible into the hour, so just gunna say very brief bits about the band themselves.

Bring it on!
Won't be able to listen live, because I'm at work then, but I guess we can still listen to it afterwards.

All the best on this young man, mind you don't concentrate on their recording career post 1992. :innocent:

no unfortunately you can only listen live, the licenses dont allow us to play music afterwards :(

The only thing I am playing since then is the recording of Arms from last month, I e-mailed Chris to ask if it was ok to play it and he just said play whatever you want lol

thanks guys! the mic wouldnt work at the begining, which is why it started a little late, I had to cut out the recording of Arms from the gig last month, after I had gotten permission from Chris Catalyst to play it, but i will play it next week
after the bad start everything seemed to go wrong :( but i am glad you enjoyed it, at least the music was good!

I didn't even notice anything went wrong! I tuned in a few minutes late, glad to know I didn't miss much.

I have heard that "Wasteland" song before but I never knew it was the m*****n  I always assumed by their looks and poses they would sound like a slightly goffier U2. So nice to find my prejudice reconfirmed ;D
