Let's make a poll about what we would like to hear live
Songs that were never played live Poll!
'Are we the Baddies?'...
"Someday! Someday, everything you need, is just gonna fall out of the sky..." -A.E. Reading 1991
"Don't forget that most of the judges in witches trials had harvard degrees."

Snippets of Phantom are played in current Floorshows too.
So tempted as I am to say YCBTO it has to be Black Planet, with Poison Door a close second.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Nice poll ... ... for me it should of course be YCBTO ... ...
alternatively, I could have chosen for
Home Of The Hitmen - could be integrated easily ... but no, too socio-psycho ...
Poison Door - yeah, basically, the intro is so cool, but hell, how can that be made rock ...
Bury Me Deep - should be quite uneasy to do it properly live ... and hell, how entertain the moshpit in the meantime ...
Black Planet - but no ... well, yes actually, but still I prefer YCBTO ...
1959 - but hell again, how entertain the moshpit in the meantime ...
Driven Like The Snow - dito ...
Torch - and here as well ... apart from the fact that this, at any event, can't but go way to far ...
Colours - no, we've been doing that all the time ... ...
oh, and not to forget
Far Parade - ah, but no, it doesn't really exist yet ... ...

I am very pleased you like the poll
For some reason, i have already forgot now, but doesn't matter, i left that page open in my browser and find it open today. And an drop down in my head about a poll
Hope you find that interesting and have some opinions of some brilliant songs that rarely attract our focus

I voted for Driven like the Snow. I love the Sisters' slower songs, and I couldn't hear enough of them. Eldritch recently showed that he's got the voice to do it live. And besides, especially Driven Like The Snow is very groovy at the same time, in a subtle kind of way.
Second choice were 1959, first, because I love that song, second, because everyone probably knows the lyrics, so that would make for a beautiful backing chorus.

Colours!
PS: Phantom it's snipped at Floorshow
and 1959 was played a single time in 90's
(They just play the very first piano riff, then Eldritch said something like "That's your problem: you are always 10 years late" and then they start to play 1969

driven like the snow yeah.
but think about it, Colours would be the ideal choice to add to this setlist.
Ben and Chris would be perfect to bring it to new hights
so Colours got my vote

Easy.
And i hope, and am pretty sure, that silly Poison Door will never be played

You'd still all cream yourselves if they played Black Planet. So long as it wasn't 2 minute long with half the lyrics left out, of course.

These:
Bury Me Deep
Poison Door
Black Planet
Driven Like the Snow
It would be quite hard to play Ozymandias live. After all it is just Dominion backwards.

Yes, but Poison Door first. Nice poll. You could allow us mutiple choices (I am not sure if this is technically possible).Lord Emsworth wrote:These:

What means this, "cream ourselves", is reference to dairy produces, yes? Unigate, perhaps? Excellent variety of milks there - gold top, red - good thinking, mh, let us drink our cream to live version soon of "Black Planet"...!mh wrote:You'd still all cream yourselves if they played Black Planet. I'm not particularly interested in hearing Black Planet live; the song doesn't seem like it would work that well live, for starters, and it seems to be more of a specific time/place song than many of the others. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
I'd love to hear them do a full version of Afterhours, though. The downside is that--as great a song as it is--it runs the risk of ruining the momentum of the gig as a whole.
Driven Like the Snow would be an interesting choice for the current band, though. Or YCBTO.
