Where to get a good steak in Leeds?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I was most pleasantly surprised at the quality of the steak & chips at the O'Neill's on Great George Street. That was a few years ago now though.

Are you staying to come dancing with the Goths in the evening? ;)

Usually do Japanese restaurants in town, I'll have a muse and see if anything comes to mind.

There is (or used to be) an Argentinian-style steak-house on The Calls that has a good reputation. I don't "do" meat so I can't vouch for it.

I've asked some carnivore friends and apparently Le Grillade on Wellington St does a fantastic chateaubriand.
