A warning from history

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Another shameful anecdote from markfiend's misspent youth

If you ever fancy spending a night "on the wire", check that what you buy doesn't taste of lemon.

Snorting a line of Lemsip is A Bad Thing. :innocent:

I always wondered what 'on the wire' meant.

along similar lines (no pun intended), never EVER watch the film 'Hallowe'en' after taking LSD
I didnt find the film itself scary (I'd seen it before a million times anyway), but walking home later that night I hallucinated that the killer, Michael Myers, was waiting for me on a street corner ahead.

t'was very scary.

 You're kidding, right?

I think I may have to give a class in amphetamine terminology at some point...

Do you get why it's "one more night spent on the mirror"?

Interesting reading MF's admissions. Particulary considering his location and the fact that I have a business client in the same WY location. Confidentially means that I am unable to divulge their name except to say that I think Sting onced worked for them. :innocent:

Which is quite understandable.

Just remember this. This rabble you keep talking about does most of the working, paying and dying in this community.
