trouble posting

hey, is it just me or has anyone els have got trouble posting the past few days?
I got frequent errors saying I have 'no post mode specified' while after trying again (a couple of times) it works anyway.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.16

That's interesting though, as the clt thread is a big one, but this is a very short one.

That it happens on both rules out certain things...

On average, cam you say how often it happens? Every time? One in 5? One in 10?

I suspect it's something at our end rather than yours. I'll look into... :)

Couple of thoughts:

Which theme are you using?

Are you using the quick reply box at the bottom of a thread, or are you hitting the Reply button to go to a new page with all the smileys etc on? Or are you hitting the Quote button on an existing post?

If you're using the quick reply are you also ticking the quote last message option?

Also, are you previewing it first or just hitting Submit?

Sorry to bombard you but all those factors could point to an error in different bits of code, so if there are patterns it will help me narrow it down...

similarly, if there are no patterns and it just happens everywhere that would also help me pin point it :)

I use the official heartland theme, I usually go to a new window with the reply button and I almost allways hit the preview button before I post something. oh and it happens quite a lot, say every other post.

that is about all I can think of.

? its not like it is the end of the world, I just mentioned it so you would be allarmed if it truly was something bigger :)
