Yea Maybe!!! I think it's one of those, "Should they or shouldn't they?" Although most would say yes I recently read from last week interview that they were just going to embark on thier seperate interests after the Canadian tour. Hell, nothing is really stopping them but Charles seems to continue with 16 plus albums on his own. I've seen Frank Black/ Black Francis many times in his various forms and the Pixies just once, and honestly I'd like the Pixies to stay legendary, although a new record would be interesting, especially if it's really good, which I wouldn't doubt at all. is it that neccessary? Since they are selling out every show on this planet "of sound". The fans are still quite Rabid indeed no matter an album or not. Much like us Sisters fans.....Rabid! But who knows, guess we shall see.

Hard to say really, its quite ambiguous. On one hand they've mentioned that since the initial reunion and since then nothing has stopped them, then on the other they go and record other albums for themselves, so it's not like they are being stopped in any way really. By the sounds of the article perhaps it might just happen, if Santiago and Lovering really try and press it to Charles and Kim. But again, I've heard all this before. As for Bono, somebody should get him to bug Andy as well.

nah not really cause i agree with you!
once upon a time she left the Pixies to go blah blah blah...
within that time i saw Frank Black in Paradiso when he was with the catholics something or other and got up real close to the man & that was good but not the thing i was looking for...
then Pixies come back with Kim Deal!!! and are playing at Lowlands in a year i forget but that i could go. i was so high as a kite, on the man's shoulders, shouting and cheering for Kim Deal and so happy so was back with the band that call themselves the Pixies that i do also love this woman and yes as a woman i agree is so indeed hot. that chick really knows how to strick those strings!

I don't know why, they never clicked for me. I appreciated them artistically, but they never grabbed me the way other bands did. I always felt like I should like them... but I always remained largely indifferent. I don't know why.

Looking forward to this. Thought they were excellent last year in Barcelona. Or as a friend of mine - by now quite legendarily - put it to a random girl stood next to him: "Pixies were great, let's go to the bushes"
Oh, and another nice news thingy yesterday is that Kate Bush apparently considers playing live again. Imagine that!

But, the Pixies - even at their poorest - are still better than most, and I would buy anything new. I trust them to put out something to be proud of.
The bass! the drums! the screaming! oh, I love it.
