First Listen: Thurston Moore, 'Demolished Thoughts'

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Scientology claims to be able to "cure homosexuality". Rumour has it that several high-ranking male Scientologists have undergone this "cure" and are, as a result, so far in the closet* that they're finding Christmas presents.

On a completely unrelated note, as well as Tom Cruise, John Travolta is another celebrity Scientologist.

* Perhaps we should rename "the closet" (in this case) to the L. Ron Cupboard? ;D

Thanx Bartek, Thurston Moore is a mighty fine musician/fella in my book and I'm planning to go see his gig on the 30th...
