I have 5 copies of DD + 7 of Body Electric but never seen this one before ?
This a gem, nobody noticed this one ?
Ah, a bit confused. The link comes up as Walk Away Irish pressing. There was an Irish pressing plant. Don't know about Sisters stuff. But I have Irish pressings of Kate Bush singles.

Couldn't say where they were pressed but they were released in Ireland and sometimes (Night of the Swallow) only there. I have an Irish Peter Gabriel single too, which is a different mix of DIY to the one released in the UK (often mistakenly listed as a UK re-release).abridged wrote:Ah, a bit confused. Noticed it didn't believe it, there'll be more out there, so what are the chances of Irish B&S, NTTC or even FALAA?
"i'm talking about god, devil, hell, do you understand, finally?"
I dont want to convince you mate
i find it myself very interesting single with different label, never seen before
thats all
A collector find interesting just a single with a promo stk on sleeve while rest of the world worth it zero

SO I took a gamble on the 'irish' Walk Away 7" that was on ebay recently. Wasn't dear so don't really mind if it just turns out to be a common press. It does indeed have a different label to any other Walk Away 7" I have seen before though, though it does have no info on it about being pressed in ireland. I can upload clear quality photos if anyone cares? Anyone have anymore info on this since this thread was created?
And upon further inspection (or rather obviously) the label layout is closer to that of the Train flexi-disc of the normal release....? Hmmmm
There was an Irish pressing plant. I also have a Kate Bush Irish single. Wow I think.

As a foot note, the guy I bought this from was also from Ireland, Galway to be exact, who claims to have bought this in Dublin, something which I would have no reason to doubt.

Ok guys no worries, it's nothing too exciting but I'll get a couple uploaded when I'm home from work (nightshift ffs ). Maybe something which could be used in the wiki?

Absolutely... ... I have only those from eBay ...Memnarch wrote:Ok guys no worries, it's nothing too exciting but I'll get a couple uploaded when I'm home from work (nightshift ffs ). Maybe something which could be used in the wiki?
Btw, I was actually thinking about bidding, but then I had to ... work ... ...
Congrats, however! The treasure is apparently in good hands ... ...
Ok, apologies for the delay. Searched high and low for my camera, appears I have misplaced the f**ker somewhere so s**t cameraphone pics will have to do for now.
The first pic is as it came, in a pretty beaten up plain white sleeve. I have no idea if the record was supposed to come in the normal picture sleeve or not? although the seller says this is how the record was bought. (The sound quality btw is fantastic, no skips or static, better than my other copies of 'Walk Away' tbh)
This is the A-Side:
The B-Side:
As you can see if you compare it to the normal UK issue:
- The label itself is slightly fainter (probably impossible to see on the photo though)
- The name is in a different position and font, and without the periods between the words
- The Eldritch/Hussey Credits are swapped
- The layout and design of the pressing info in a different layout and font completely
- The copyright round the outer rim of the label is a bit more scrunched up and slightly harder to read.
The runout etchings
A Side: MR033 A-2 CP *star*MT*star*
B Side: MR033 B-2 CP *star*MT *star*
(The *star* is a tiny etched star symbol btw)
I've included the discogs pics for the common Walk Away and train flexi-disc below for comparisons?
