Carl and James were used as extras for TV performances to make it appear they were a full band rather than just a duo, it helped that both of the extras were signed to Merciful Release as James Ray and the Performance and Carl did contibute to Floodland.

Btw, is there any other tp of Reptile House besides the Mayking / Echantillon one (same for ToL and Alice)?
