Spam email,from myself!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's quite a common spammers' technique to spoof the "from" address to match the "to" address.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Aye, had it before too. I managed to lower my spam reception count by about 95% by deleting my three letter easy log-in alias for my inbox. Shame, as it was pretty handy :(

I've had this happen to me in my Yahoo addy as well.

Apparently, I'm offering myself a job that pays up to $2000 a week.

I haven't replied back to myself yet though - I'm not sure I can afford to pay $2000 a week.

You probably won't make much money from it.

I'd be paying myself $2000 a week, that's not bad is it.

Now, if only I had $2000 to pay myself.

Once you have $2,000 and two bank accounts it can't be that hard surely!

I'm not convinced. Pay me and we'll see if I make any money from it. If I do, you'll know it's safe to go ahead and pay yourself.
