I wouldn't worry about it. It's quite a common spammers' technique to spoof the "from" address to match the "to" address.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Aye, had it before too. I managed to lower my spam reception count by about 95% by deleting my three letter easy log-in alias for my inbox. Shame, as it was pretty handy

I don't actually get that many, usually they are form someone called Estaban or Carlos, assuring me that "she will be impressed by your girth" or offering me a few hundred euro's to join a casino, this is the first time I have had one from someone who's name is actually the first half of my email address!

I've had this happen to me in my Yahoo addy as well.
Apparently, I'm offering myself a job that pays up to $2000 a week.
I haven't replied back to myself yet though - I'm not sure I can afford to pay $2000 a week.

You probably won't make much money from it.originalgoth wrote:I've had this happen to me in my Yahoo addy as well.

I'd be paying myself $2000 a week, that's not bad is it.
Now, if only I had $2000 to pay myself.

Once you have $2,000 and two bank accounts it can't be that hard surely!originalgoth wrote:I'd be paying myself $2000 a week, that's not bad is it.

I'm not convinced. Pay me and we'll see if I make any money from it. If I do, you'll know it's safe to go ahead and pay yourself.originalgoth wrote:I'd be paying myself $2000 a week, that's not bad is it.
