Amsterdam or bust!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

It was nice to get a PM anyway. ;D
For what it's worth, Debs, next time I can afford to go on holiday, I'll make a return visit, and will certainly drop by :D

Christophe: I heartily recommend the Bluebird coffeeshop, as it is very much out-the-way but still only about 15 minutes' walk from Dam Square. There are some gothy-type shops nearby with (at the time, at least) some drop-dead gorgeous folk in and around :)
We pretty much just wandered aimlessly, enjoying the nice atmosphere. Was certainly a culture shock coming back to the UK.

Sadly, we didn't get to explore much, but I suppose a return journey will be in order one way or another, maybe once I get this degree.

Went to a great bar there last year called Suzie's Bar. Rock bar. It rocked.

Went on a stag do with 18 others. One of the guys is married with three kids and he banged 6 prostitutes while we were (just 4 days). What a nice guy.
