Hi, my first post, though I've been admiring and using this site for a couple of years now. I only signed up yesterday.
As it says on the tin: is Andy on Twitter? There's a lot of accounts that use his name, but I'll be honest, he seems the type to give the finger to social networking in his next liner notes... But the chance to hear words from his demi-godly mouth is reason enough for hope.

i hope not.

If Von's on Twitter (big "if") it would be for something completely unrelated to the Sisters (8-bit programming, or western philosophy between 1432 and 1584 would be reasonable guesses) and under a totally different name.
Welcome, by the way.
Welcome, by the way.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Ah shame. It seems obvious now other people have said it that of course he would never be on there. I only use it to get HL and Trent Reznor updates
Thank you for the warm welcome by the way!

Yeah, it's a shame! Though Twitter confuses me. But wouldn't object to FB or a nice blog. Whenever I see old clippings where he wrote something it was hilarious. I'm sure whatever it is that is on his mind these days, it would be fun to read.drivensnow wrote:Ah shame.

Andy has made it clear in interviews that he doesn't hold with all this Web 2.0 nonsense. Note that the Sisters website is still in static HTML without CSS and proud of it. To paraphrase Homer Simpson, it is scientifically proven that digital technology reached perfection in 2001.

This is true, and the website does have a certain charm. "You're here anyway."H. Blackrose wrote:Note that the Sisters website is still in static HTML without CSS and proud of it.

It's probably the combination of Aruban beer and benzodiazepine (I honestly just wanted to get tired and go to sleep), but this blog really got me questioning everything said about AE not participating in any online community. I apologize in advance for sharing this information, apparantly I've got a hidden talent for insulting my fellow human beings without knowing what the offensive part actually was.
Anyway, can any of you make sense of this? My browser displays cyrillic symbols for reply options and titles, followed by blog entries in Dutch.
I stumbled upon it while googling the german original of "Het ergste moet nog komen" by Schopenhauer.
I also apologize for any spelling errors made.
