Vienna is another one missing from the XXX recordings but I do have a friend who lives in Vienna who told me that security is always tight in that venue so maybe that explains it.
Hopefully one day a recording of both Vienna & Japan will surface though.
We can live in hope.

I think with the whole Japanese ethic of politeness and honesty it makes it seem like it'd be less likely for someone to record a gig (the penalties for being caught are stricter too), but that's definitely not always the case as there's plenty of Japanese bootlegs.
The Japanese bootleggers are some of the most inventive I've seen. I've got Jpop bootlegs where people have taken radio scanners and recorded direct off the radio mics. Sometimes when there's more than one radio mic they're somehow able to record off every mic seperately so you'll get maybe 6 recordings of the same concert, each off a different mic. Impressive!

Oh ,yes I have patience. Just a little curious to why it would take months for it to see the light of the day. Every other show is usually available within hours after the actual show. If not, it usually (nowadays in the fast internet world) means that there are no recording.Ozpat wrote:He obviously is not very patient Paul!paul wrote:What Ozpat said: Patience! But, I can wait. But why does the one with the recording wait to share it?

Millions of reasons why someone doesnt want to share their recording of a concert, but would take an lifetime to explain hereplayboy wrote:Oh ,yes I have patience. One good reason... a RL friend got permission from a live act to tape their shows from the mixing desk for his own perverse pleasure, he made a copy for another friend. 2 weeks later the shows were on Ebay and he was banned for life from their mixing desk
Andrew Eldritch Dour Festival 1997: Yeah, We take any request... As much as we ever do.
I can understand that. If he made a promise and then was trying to sell it he should be banned for life, of course.Drsisters wrote:Millions of reasons why someone doesnt want to share their recording of a concert, but would take an lifetime to explain hereplayboy wrote:Oh ,yes I have patience. But I doubt that such agreements to let anyone record from the mixing desk have been made at a Sisters show.
My guess is that the Sisters are not as followed as in Europe or USA to a certain degree, the japanese audience doesnt collect as frantic as we do here. Understandable, when the fun gets a little lost if you never get to see the band perform which they havent uptil now. So, they just don´t get a f..k in bootlegs of band which has not released an album for some 20 years, and never have played there before. There is an interest in Sisters in Japan, for sure.
But if a recording was made of this show it was probably made by a european fan.
So first of all, is it known if any of all Heartlanders here was at the show? If so, did he or she record it? If not, why would some japanbloke do so if not a hardcorefan travelling the globe could be bothered to?
If I were there, I would have recorded it.
This is just guessings, of course. But don´t you all at least agree that it is a embarassing whole in the collection not to have this one? Their first ever show in Japan.....
We will get the gigs from Australia, no doubt about that and I guess that the Japan show sounded much the same as the others. But still... We should have it for the completeness.
That may be true for Japanese Sisters fans, but for fans of certain Jpop acts their obsession with collecting their favourite group would make anyone here look like a casual fan.playboy wrote:...the japanese audience doesnt collect as frantic as we do here.
Fuji TV are showing highlights of the Fuji Rock Festival on Sept 17,18,19th but guess which band
