no idea
i looked at heartland before i went out yesterday and it was fine...
i went out about lunchtime, for the day, and didn't check it again until this morning, when it clearly wasn't there
i rebooted the server and it all came back...
very strange

Another Shade of You.
And I cut the hedge, mowed the lawn, washed and polished the floors, dusted the venetian blinds, maked school books, did my planning.

A nice break ... time to think over the whole concept of my life ... ...
And already the second time within short - and again at the weekend ...
if things develop further like this, I might even become a reasonable
being one day ... well, at least during weekends ...

yeah, looks like the web service running on the heartland server fell over while i was away
i gave fiendy ssh access to the server while i was away so that he could reboot it if required, but it looks like the ssh process had crashed too - i tried to log in via ssh from the hotel but the server was unavailable
in the end i had to log in to the hosting company's system control panel and trigger a 'hard' system reset from there
i'll be chasing the hosting company up to see what happened next week...
sorry for any convenience/inconvenience*

i stopped being able to receive HL emails on the 24th (the friday) but wasnt able to get online properly to reboot it until about the 26th (sunday)
