One of my favourate gigs ever bar non.
You never know if anyone will turn up after two years or frankly if you can pull it off anymore, fortunately on both counts i think we managed.
To the people who came to have a look it was hugely appreciated, and a pleasure to work with Phono Paul as ever it was. Ian and Mya thanks for fitting us into your busy schedules and trusty Graham for his sterling work. Was good to have all five of us up there at the end. Absent friends Dave and Vince were both in my thoughts.
To the singers of Jolene..... you were utterly priceless and THE highlight of the night.
I think the Smurphs is a bit more special to me now than it ever was for the first 12 years.
Smoke, Floods and Stolen Goods.
See you in 2013
Onward Marching Men,
Best wishes,
Paddy.
