This may be a dumb question already answered a million times, but why is it that the lyrics for the new unreleased songs is reproduced by kind permission of EMI Music Publishing Ltd at the official Sisters site?
The inner workings of the music industry are a complete mystery to me (I'm happier to leave them that way too), but as I understand it's just a publishing deal, which is a far cry from a recording contract. It's possible for an artist to have a publishing deal with, say, BMG but a recording contract with WEA (as I understand The Sisters did once - sigh). The publishing bit (I think) just looks after the legal side of stuff, such as royalties, ownership 'n' whatnot, whereas the recording contract deals with getting product in shops.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
