Dear All,
I'm a long time lurker, ex-Dominionite and the webmaster/forum admin of Outpost #31, the oldest, biggest and best The Thing fansite on the internet. Some of you might be able to figure out who I am from this information but that's not important right now. What is important is this question:
Can you spot The Sisters Easter egg on our news page?

Easter egg, or SPAM?
Perhaps a more pertinent question would be: do any of us care? Not trying to be rude but if we're Thing fans we'll seek out Thing webpages. We won't go to them just because there might be an obscure hidden Sisters reference.XidiouX wrote:Can you spot The Sisters Easter egg on our news page?

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

Couldn't find anything, unless the Andrew/Patricia photo in Floodland was taken at Salmon Glacier. Is it that tenious? A clue might be in order, are we looking for a photo, a hidden link to some other page, something in the text that's a quote of the man himself, or something in the source code?

Hello and welcome, XidiouX - but I'm afraid I'm throwing in the towel already - how about just telling us the Sisters connection, since I probably speak for most of us here when I say that my appetite for The Thing minutiae is, well, obviously vast - astronomical - but still finite...XidiouX wrote:Dear All,

Second clue:
SSV-NSMABAAOTWMODAACOTIATW does not stand for "Screw Shareholder Value - not so much a band as another opportunity to waste money on drugs and ammunition, courtesy of the idiots at Time Warner."
Why not?
