Sisters Easter Egg

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

For what it's worth, I think I've found it but can't go any further right now as the net connection in work is blocking me.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

This SSV reference has me. That long acronym is the perfect place to hide a secondary message. What's the story Thingy Guy?

Well I was wrong about "The Thing: the ultimate in alien terror" being a reference to That Guitarist (my first guess) but right about the semi-hidden YouTube link. It's not that big a deal really. :|

Really?

I think this thread isn't really "sisters chat" btw: I'm moving it to general.

Really? Then you've led an exceedingly charmed life, pal. Or an exceedingly short one.

You're about as good at that Eldritch Thing as Eldritch is at that Stipe Thing.
