Eureka Machines news

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

O'course! 8)

I hear Maisey is as well, and no doubt inviting getting punched in the cock when he climbs on someone's shoulders.

Top night out !

Weebs in THE troosers.
Tim in FULL Dr Who mode (nice scarf).
Maisey drinking for England -should have a nice head for the move today.
Si in a rather fetching hat.
Bands excellent.

Even some strange small bald bloke called me back over at the end to shake hands and say tara !!! :von: :innocent:

It was a great night, Tim was jellybabied out of his tree and nice to say a Leeds Goodbye to Maisey. Lee and his considerably better half  were on fine form. The band were brilliant, seriously f**king great. Should be huge, HUGE.

Lee, I believe the small chap and I were extolling the virtues of your gargantuan heed, that and the fact you are a lovely bloke. T'was very surreal having a conversation with him and staring directly into his eyes. He was more spangled then me.

As for Si's idea for a new T-shirt design-I don't think it will sell.

Much.

Should be huge.....

Not sure Chris' recent answers on Formspring indicate much of a future for the band. :(

Don't expect them to do a zillion gigs a year in far flung places again, but they're not dead. Keep April free in your calendar.

Hey, this is unpinned now... best bump it with something relevant then.

On New Year's Eve, Eureka Machines are doing a covers set at the Brudenell Social Club. There will be a ton of fun stuff going on, and when they did it last year it sold out. You would be advised to get your tickets in advance:

http://www.wegottickets.com/event/145506

In other news, their album came 47th in the Classic Rock list of their albums of the year.

Reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Did anyone has Eureka Machines live-recordings?
I Rly want to hear a full gig, but i'm a 'little' far from UK.

Cheers!

There's not much in the way of live bootlegs. This is a complete set from three years ago with their former bass player, if you haven't seen it:

There'll be more activity this year though so fingers crossed!
