THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I've been amassing these beauties since 1989 from various sources. Some are official, some...not so much. A couple are even hand-painted. So, in no particular order...I'll begin. Enjoy...

this was my favourite bootleg t-shirt (still got it in very tired condition) also used to have one black on white which was lovley in summer
Mine is so used it'll most probably just fall apart any day now... I did wear it quite a few times this summer and it survived the Crammerock moshpit
I remember you not wearing any shirt at all in the moshpit?!
Or maybe that was another gig...
You got your memories mixed up, patrick! The last few gigs I kept the shirt on, yes sir.

Not since you're a dad Koen or...?
yes, mixed up by a girlfriend who was even pregnant at the time ,
a great band and heaps of alcohol.
Your excused, my friend
That does seem like a most perfect recipe to get things mixed up and you might even be right about the dad thing vs barechested freak-out
and now back on topic: This was my fave for years (mine was shortsleeved though) and wore it all the time, but it got stolen at the Dour festival in 98:
Kurbythegreat wrote:A real beauty. Well worn long-sleeve. Ebay purchase. I was after this one for ages before I snapped it up. Front and back.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone... I'm very interested to see what else others have collected over the years. Its nice to see that after all the poking fun at by friends and family, I'm not the only one obsessing over these shirts...

Hand painted. I always wanted the real thing...I guess I got tired of waitiing. Didn't do anything on the back.
Also hand-painted. I think its a pretty good job, no?
You might be in luck with the Jesus shirt, there is a chance they might make some more. At the Glasgow gig a couple of months ago they were selling "f**k Me And Marry Me Young" "Hot Metal And Methedrine" and "Gift" t shirts, all with Sisters Reptile backprints.
